I know a couple who has been living together for 3 years without getting nikahfied. They already have a 2-year-old son, and the wife is expecting another baby soon.
I’m really concerned about the legal and social consequences they might face in Pakistan. Specifically:

1. What are the legal implications of living together without nikah?

2. Can they face serious fines or imprisonment under Pakistani law?

3. Will both the man and the woman be held accountable, or does the law treat them differently?
4. Could their families also face legal or social repercussions for allowing or supporting this arrangement?
